BARD Games takes a key step in expanding its distribution strength by announcing a collaboration deal with Nord Games LLC. This strategic partnership expands the logistics capabilities of BARD Games by aligning their publishing and product business with the fulfillment and distribution experience of Nord Games.
BARD Games has focused 2019 on assembling a team of game designers and Kickstarter professionals. The result has been quality game design, effective crowdfunding and amazing licensing partners like Amy Brown. With the success of Fickle, BARD Games concluded that attempting to also master logistics may come at the expense of their upcoming projects. Enter Nord Games.
“We are truly blessed to forge a partnership with Nord Games”, Brandon Raasch of BARD Games shared. “Chris and the team at Nord Games has the facilities, knowledge and customer focus that we value as publishers and fellow gamers. The folks at Nord Games also make games, handle products for other wonderful publishers and have the logistics discipline we know our backers will love. This partnership will allow us to focus on producing quality games and ensure our logistics is ready for all orders, big or small.”
“It’s a pleasure to work with BARD Games,” Chris Haskins of Nord Games told us, “forming this sort of alliance with other companies in the industry serves to strengthen all of us.” Nord Games LLC has been honing its supply chain program since 2016. In addition to creating a deep library of their own role-playing books, terrains and related products, they provide logistics for publishers like LoreSmyth and English Rose games. Their Distribution Center in Watsonville, California provides ample space for the BARD Games fulfillment, including a dedicated drop ship program. By integrating with Nord Games, BARD Games is confident that customer requests will be shipped swiftly and with the care that only comes from buying games from fellow gamers.
BARD Games will continue to rely on their partners at BackerKit and EasyShip for International fulfillment and freight shipping.
BARD Games and Nord Games will begin their inaugural fulfillment by shipping Fickle to Kickstarter backers this October. Then the partnership will finalize their dropship programs in time for holiday sales of several BARD Games partner products. In 2020, the two companies will expand their mutual product offerings and focus on strategies to manage shipping costs to benefit their customers.
